The result was redirect to Knoc-turn'al. (non-admin closure) Ron Ritzman (talk) 01:00, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fails WP:NALBUMS. Failed to chart on Billboard [1]. Lack of significant coverage by reliable sources. Article has been tagged for having no sources for over 2 years. Niteshift36 (talk) 21:58, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Redirect to Knoc-turn'al as per the notability guideline for albums. No need for AfD. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 15:34, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Again, you misinterpret. For albums, it says may be merged to discography. It doesn't say must. So stating there is "no need for AfD" isn't really much more than opinion being presented as policy. Niteshift36 (talk) 15:47, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- It's a plausible search term, whats the problem with a redirect? Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 15:58, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I didn't say there was necessarily a problem, but you've been saying "No need for AfD" on everything today, as if there is some blatant policy violation in bringing it to AfD and for the albums, incorrectly stating that the policy is to just redirect. It's not the policy. Redirect is an option, as is deletion. You !voted redirect. Fine. No need for the mini-lecture. Niteshift36 (talk) 16:03, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry if you interpreted what I said as a "mini-lecture", but its usually a good idea to consider other options before bringing things to AfD. Redirects are logical, intuitive for encyclopedia users and easily carried out by simple editing. Redirecting a song to the album is an easy way of solving problem articles that are either unlikely to be expanded or not notable in themselves. Thats why I said "No need for AfD": because a redirect is far simpler. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 16:08, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to Knoc-turn'al seems most appropriate under WP:NALBUMS given apparent lack of notability and the benefits to users of a redirect versus deletion. Rlendog (talk) 13:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
